A conversation from Australia

A few weeks ago Nathan, our Interim CEO, was invited to speak with Tina Waldrom the Director of Evangelism In Australia. Together they spoke about the significance of initiating conversations in diverse settings, whilst attentively listening to people’s stories and ways we can share ours. This podcast explores the work of UDC and the transformative power of conversations in mission.

“I love everything that I get to do but sometimes you speak with someone that just brings a little extra joy to your world…that was the case when I chatted with Nathan from the UK”

Tina Waldrom -  Director of Evangelism In Australia

For many years now The Ugly Duckling Company has been working alongside numerous networks and churches in Australia.  Whilst this is some distance from our offices in the UK where most of our work takes place, the nature of our resources enables us to reach all over the world. We are grateful for the generosity of our Australian supporters and for our partners down under who give us the opportunity to be part of what God is doing there. A few weeks ago Nathan our Interim CEO was invited to speak with Tina Waldrom the Director of Evangelism In Australia. Together they spoke about the significance of initiating conversations in diverse settings, whilst attentively listening to people’s stories and ways we can share ours. This podcast explores the work of UDC and the transformative power of conversations in mission.

Tina say’s “ These are just a few things I learnt from Nathan:

1. Conversations have the power to transform lives and share the message of Jesus.

2 Start conversations where people are and listen for the different themes in their lives.

3. Table Talk Cards can be used to facilitate conversations and create spaces for meaningful dialogue.

4. Avoid ‘telling’ too quickly, journeying too fast and being too serious in conversations.

My conversation with Nathan will seriously bless you.”
