3 new Table Talks for children

Talking is important for everyone, but it's particularly crucial to the mental and emotional health and development of children and young people.

When we support children to talk it can strengthen our relationships with them and give them space to express how they are thinking and feeling. We are therefore excited to launch three brand new resources to encourage children and adults to get talking together, that you can use as a parent, grandparent, a children's worker, teacher etc.

Table Talk for Children

Table Talk for Children is for children aged 7-11 (with some questions suitable for ages 5-6). The box contains 6 themes exploring: Home Life, School Time, The World, Well-being, Friends, and Technology. This is a brilliant way to help children to express their thoughts and feelings around some of the issues that really matter to them.

Table Talk for Families

Table Talk for Families offers a fun way to get families talking, laughing and spending quality time together. Exploring 21 Themes this mini pack can be used at home, in the car, on holiday, at meals times or at family gatherings. If you are church, school, or community group you could even give one to every family you have contact with. They make an ideal mothers or fathers day event giveaway.

Table Talk for Early Years

Developed in partnership with the Diocese of Gloucester and launched at their Under 5s and Flourishing Conference last weekend, this brilliant pack of 21 cards is designed to get parents, carers and children aged 2–4 talking and playing together.

Ideal for the home or any space where adults and young children spend time together, Table Talk for Early Years would make a perfect gift for anyone with young children or a resource for those of you working with this age group.
